How Answer Sheet Check of CBSE Board Exam?
Analysis of CBSE marking scheme shows that the board takes step marking very seriously. teacher gets a specific amount of money for checking a copy by CBSE. Naturally, every teacher wants to make more amount of money per day by checking more number of copies.
The process of checking CBSE exam answer sheets is conducted in several stages. Here is a brief overview of the process:
- Collection of answer sheets: After the exams are completed, the answer sheets are collected by the respective examination centres and sent to the regional offices of CBSE.
- Scanning and digitization: The answer sheets are scanned and digitized by the regional offices to facilitate the checking process.
- Allocation of evaluators: The CBSE assigns evaluators for each subject based on their expertise and experience. The evaluators are given a specific time frame to complete the checking process.
- Answer sheet checking: The evaluators check the answer sheets and award marks as per the marking scheme prescribed by the CBSE. The evaluators also ensure that the marking is done accurately and there are no discrepancies in the marking process.
- Moderation: After the evaluation process is completed, the CBSE conducts a moderation process to ensure that the marking is done uniformly and fairly across all the subjects.
- Final result compilation: After the moderation process is completed, the CBSE compiles the final result and declares it on the official website.
The teachers point out that in stark contrast to what they are given, the examiners of the national boards earn Rs 10 for each Class X paper checked and Rs 12 for every Class XII paper. The state board teachers have urged that they be levelled with their national board counterparts.
This is to inform all the students that, this year, the re-evaluation of exam sheets and answer check could be done on strict basis. As the pattern follows and what we have analysed, that CBSE tries to balance out paper checking every year. If you have noticed, the cut-off was not that high in the year 2019.
The CBSE board Evaluation process is not as strict as you think, because the instructions given to the examiners who check your copies are not so strict.
